An inspiring story of an obese, depressed young man who discovers the power of mental strength through weightlifting and fitness, helping him better understand himself while inspiring others.
Adonis Hill is a 35 year old trainer from Brooklyn, NY. He became a trainer six years ago after losing 100 pounds and taking up weightlifting.
At around 27 he was obese and depressed. He started to take long walks. His walks turned into jogs. He started to eat healthier. By the time he was 29, he’d lost 100 pounds and taken up weightlifting so he could put on some muscle. He’s kept up that healthy lifestyle by prepping healthy meals, having regular treats, and basically always moving.
He is now raising money for a mission where he plans to move America with a walk across the country, inspiring people to get healthy and fit by providing individuals with the tools, information and motivation necessary to make educated and healthy choices within their own lives. You can provide him your support here at GoFundMe.
Bonus - Here's the story of how he put on 70 pounds to help a client lose weight.
